Told the kido's at school today

And omg it was too funny! I wasn't planning on telling them today but it was a perfect opportunity and I caught a few staring at my stomach so I thought "Ah what the hell!" I was standing on a chair (yes, #1 no no at school) and I had my cell phone in my back pocket and they all noticed it and were making comments.
I got down off the chair and said "So do you see anything else?" They sat there for a while and pointed out my pink toe nail polish and my shirt logo. And then finally I heard someone say in a real low voice "It looks like she's been eatin too much." I died laughing. I said "What?!" They all were hysterical. Then I heard my one boy say "It looks like you got a baby in yo belly!" and I said "wow Eddie is right!" and they all started saying "You're pregnant?!" I said yep. And then the comments started.
Maria: That means you need to eat healthy food. No chips, no candy!
Alisha: Is it a boy or a girl?
Wade: Ah, man I don't like PG teachers!
Mya: Are you going to have a baby shower? (her step mom just had a baby so she knows all about it)
It was too cute! I was pretty surprised at how they reacted. They were so excited. I explained that next year when they come back and are in 2nd grade I'll be leaving to have the baby.
The rest of the day was a hoot. On the way to music as Amaya was walking out the door past me she poked my stomach and had the biggest smile. Then they were telling other teacher's that were passing by, "My teachers having a baby!" and then I could hear two of them talking.
Rodney: What if she had the baby today, she would have to go to the doctor.... then we would be able to stay home!
Amaya: NOOOO, then we would have a substitute!
I was helping Wade on the computer and his elbow hit my stomach. His reaction was so funny. He said sorry 6 times!
It made my day! My bump is more noticeable. I finally put on the maternity pants and ohhhh they are NICE! lol

Kids are great, aren't they? I hope I don't have to tell my middle school kids for a long time!
